The exit load of 1% is applicable, but only for investors who sell or redeem Global Fund units within 2 years. This is done intentionally to ensure investors hold the global funds for a longer duration and redemption of the fund by retail investors doesn’t affect the returns of other investors—since a short-term tax would be applicable to the AMC for the units sold.
