How to transfer funds from ICICI Bank to Vested?

Step 1: Log in to the ICICI Internet Banking portal using your user ID or mobile number

Step 2: Under the “Payments and Transfer” tab, select “Fund Transfer”.

Step 3: Select “Overseas Transfer”.

Step 4: Select “Send Money Now”.

Step 5: Select “Add Receiver”.

Note: This is a one-time process if you are funding through ICICI Money2World for the first time. If you have previously transferred using ICICI Money2World, select “Transfer Money” and go to Step 11

Step 6: Select “Broking Company”.

Step 7: Add receiver details (refer to figure 9) and select “NEXT”.

Step 8: Add the receiver’s address (refer to Figure 9) and select “NEXT”.

  • Go to the Transfer tab, select  Add funds

  • Choose Indian Banks > View general bank instructions > Account number

Step 9: An OTP will be sent to your mobile number. Enter the OTP and select “NEXT”.

Step 10: Select “SEND MONEY” and with this step, the receiver will be added successfully.

Step 12: Enter the amount you wish to send and click on “Apply Code”

Step 13: Enter Vested’s promo Code VEST40 and click on “Apply”. This is a special promo code for Vested users. With this code, you will get an INR 1000 discount on the remittance service charge and a 40 paisa discount on the FX rate.

Step 15: Choose the purpose of sending money abroad as “Others” and select “NEXT”

Step 16: Select “Investment in Equity/Mutual Fund/Venture Capital” for the purpose.

Step 17: Chose specific sub-purpose as “Investment in Equity Shares”

Step 18: Chose the type of company as “Listed Company” and enter the name of the stock exchange as “NYSE”

Step 19: Select “DW Broker” as the receiver.

Step 20: Enter your Name and DriveWealth account number in the field “Ultimate Receiver’s Account Number”. Your DriveWealth account number is a 10-digit serial number that starts with a ‘V’ (for example: VSGD102XXX). You can get this from the Profile section in the Vested app.

Step 21: Select "Source of Money" from the dropdown menu, check all the boxes, and select “NEXT. If you want to read more about TCS on remittance and how it affects you, please refer to the note on this page.
