What are the different types of INR Bonds available on Vested?
There are two types of INR Bonds available on Vested:
Corporate Bonds: Issued by private companies with good credit ratings, corporate bonds offer higher potential returns compared to G-Secs and PSU bonds, but also carry higher risk. The creditworthiness of the issuing company plays a crucial role in determining the risk and return associated with these bonds.
Government Bonds: Issued by the Government of India and backed by its sovereign guarantee, Government bonds are considered the safest and most liquid bond option in India. They offer fixed interest payments and come in various tenures, from short-term Treasury Bills to long-term bonds maturing in 40 years.
