What is Realized Profit/Loss?

Realized Profit/Loss refers to the profit or loss experienced upon selling your assets. It represents the actual gain or loss realized only upon the completion of the transaction and the subsequent sale of the holdings. For instance, if you own 1 share of Apple purchased at $200 and sell 0.5 shares at $300, the realized profit would be $50.
